ENGLISH VOCAB

1.    Jaunty (adj): feeling self-confidence
Usage: A Jaunty tune/rhythm.

2.    Jocund (adj): pleasant; cheerful
Usage: The little girl’s jocund manners of speaking were attractive.

3.    Jettison (v): to throw unnecessary things from a ship aircraft etc.
Usage: The tankers were jettisoning crude oil.

4.    Jeer (v): to laugh rudely
Usage: Jeer at the speaker.

5.    Jib(v): to refuse; to unwilling to accept
Usage: He jibbed when I told him the price.

6.     Killjoy (N): person who destroys other people’s enjoyment.
Usage: He behaves like a killjoy.

7.    Knackers (v): to make somebody very tired
Usage: This writing work knackered the whole day.

8.    Limbo (n): in an unfinished and uncertain state
Usage: the project was in limbo until the committee made its decision.

9.    Labyrinth (n): confusion; maze
Usage: A person suffering from labyrinth.

10.  Loopy (adj): crazy
Usage: It sounds a loopy idea to me.
