1.    Halcyon: Happy
Usage: The halcyon days of one’s youth.

2.    Hiatus: A gap
Usage: There will be a two weeks hiatus before the talks can be resumed.

3.    Hirstue (adj): hairy
Usage: A hirsute dog moving on the road.

4.    Horrendous(adj): horrible
Usage: Horrendous problem in our families.

5.    Hortatory (adj): advising
Usage: Hortatory talks to the employees.

6.     Idyllic (adj): peaceful: beautiful
Usage: An idyllic cottage/scenery.

7.    Imminent (adj): likely to happen anything wrong
Usage: Seeing the cloud my friend said.”Rain is imminent.

8.    Impeccable (adj): faultless; without any mistake
Usage: His written English is impeccable.

9.    Impolitic( adj): Not wise
Usage: It might be impolitic to refuse his order.

10.  Impugn(v): challenged as false

Usage: impugn somebody’s motives.
