Reasoning Quiz

Direction: (1-10 ) In each question below are either two or three statements followed by two conclusions I and II. You have to take the two or three given statements to be true and then decided which of the given conclusions logically follows from the two/ three given statements, disregarding the commonly known facts.
Give answer
         (1)   if only conclusion I follows.
         (2)   If only conclusion II follows.

1.       Statements: NO table is wood. Some woods are chairs.
All chairs are stones.
Conclusion I. No stone is table.

2.       Statements: All letters are black. All black are blue. No blue is green.
Conclusion: I. No letters is green.
                        II. Most blue are black.
3.       Statements: Some fruits are mango. Some mango are red. All red are vegetables.

4.       Statements : Some eyes are ears. Some ears are hands.

5.       Statements : Some books are pens. Some pens are pencils. Some pencils are buttons.

6.       Statements : Some caps are shirts. All shirts are papers.
Conclusion: I. All shirts which are caps are papers.

7.       Statements : 10 % shoes are chappals . 5% chappals are papers. 99% papers are pens.

Conclusion: I. All A are Y.

9.       Statements : Some water is cold. No cold is milk. Some milk  is water.
Conclusion: I. Some water that is cold is milk.

10.   Statements: Some waste is  white.  Some white is water. Some  water is waste.
Conclusion: I. Some water which is white is water.
                        II. Some water is neither waste nor white.
