Jammu and Kashmir Bank won four national awards-The Sunday Standard FINWIZ-2012 Best Bankers’ Awards. The Bank was awarded Best Banker in Financial Inclusion and Customer Friendliness and declared runner up for Best Banker in Priority Sector Growth and Agricultural Credit.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Summit held in HICC, Novotel Hyderabad. The summit was held between 22 August 2012 to 25 August 2012.

3. India,Afghanistan and Iran agreed to work for expanding trade and transit co-operation through Chabahar port in Iran. The representatives of the these countries will meet in Next month(September) to expedite the process.

The G-20, a group of 20 major economies of the word has come of age within a short period of two years as it adopted summit level format only in the year 2008. Perhaps,
