Dear readers, IBPS PO III has been announced and, as anticipated earlier, IBPS has introduced the two major changes in application process - 1. Min 60% required in graduation 2. Age restricted to 28 years.
BankersAdda had informed its readers well in advance, about 2 months ago, about these expected changes. Accordingly, our take of this issues was - this is unfair to many candidates because of many reasons like 1. UPSC, SSC or SBI does not have such criteria. 2. Graduation percentage marks given vary from university to university and stream to stream. 3. Even if such criteria is be implemented, students should be given atleast one year's time.
Looking at the request of many readers, we had also started a online petitions against both the issues. But, as we moved ahead, we faced following hurdles -
1. As soon as we started these two petitions, we faced harsh criticism from various sections of students. Lot of readers had doubts that we have our hidden motives behind this (bankersadda is wholely owned subsidiary of Bank POwer) and we are doing this, because if this criteria is implemented, it will have negative impact on our business (Bank Power).
2. Notwithstanding this criticism, we knew that we have a clear heart and this notification has potential to ruin lives of many candidates. So, we went ahead and approached Delhi high court regarding this.
3. When we consulted our lawyer in Delhi, we are told that since we are not a directly affected party from this decision, so we can not file a petition in high court regarding this. Only a student, who will be affected from this decision can apply in court against this.
4. We were also advised, that if it is a genuine cause, we should stay away from it (in the interest of students). As, the more we are associated with this, it will be construed as hidden agenda by us rather than genuine cause of lacs of students. This website is a public website, accessible by everyone. So, contents posted on this website can be used against the case.
Looking at all these aspects, we decided to disassociate our-self with this movement. We know for sure that there are some candidates, who are planning to file a suit in court regarding this. We wish them success in their fight against system for what they feel is wrong.
