ENGLISH VOCAB.

 1.    WORD: APPLAUSE ( प्रशंसा , साधुवाद )
Synonyms: Praise
Meaning:  Applause is the noise made by a group of people clapping their hands to show approval.
Example: They greeted him with thunderous applause.
2.    WORD: OSTENSIBLE ( प्रत्यक्ष , दिखावटी )
Synonyms: Apparent
Meaning:: Ostensible is used to describe something that seems to be true or is officially stated to be true, but about which you or other people have doubts.
Example: The ostensible purpose of these meetings was to gather information on financial strategies.
3.    WORD: INVETERATE ( आदि , रिवाजी )
Synonyms: Habitual
Meaning: If you describe someone as, for example, an inveterate liar or smoker, you mean that they have lied or smoked for a long time and are not likely to stop doing it.
Example: an inveterate gambler.
4.    WORD: ABASHED ( लज्जित करना )
Synonyms: Embarrassed
Meaning: If you are abashed, you feel embarrassed and ashamed.
Example: He looked abashed, uncomfortable.
5.    WORD: AFFABLE ( विनम्र , सज्जन )

Meaning: Someone who is affable is pleasant and friendly.
Example: Mr. Brooke is an extremely affable and approachable man.

Synonyms: Formless
Meaning: Something that is amorphous has no clear shape or structure.
Example: A dark, strangely amorphous shadow filled the room.

Synonyms: Strenuous
Meaning: Something that is arduous is difficult and tiring, and involves a lot of effort.
Example: The task was more arduous than he had calculated.

Synonyms: Effective
Meaning: If you describe someone as articulate, you mean that they are able to express their thoughts and ideas easily and well.
Example: She is an articulate young woman.
9.    WORD: BEHOLDEN ( आभारी , कर्तग्य )
Synonyms: Obligated
Meaning: If you are beholden to someone, you are in debt to them in some way or you feel that you have a duty to them because they have helped you.
Example: We feel really beholden to them for what they have done.
10.  WORD: INEXORABLE ( निष्ठुर , अन्मनीय )
Synonyms: Relentless
Meaning: You use inexorable to describe a process which cannot be prevented from continuing or progressing.
Example: the seemingly inexorable rise in unemployment.
